Annie Jordan joined Senterfitt and Knight after graduating from Georgia State University School of Law in 2013. Annie first developed her passion for family law from her mother who is a family law specialist in Southern California.
While in law school, Annie focused on family law, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. In addition, she interned in the Fulton County Family Division for the Honorable Judge Wendy Shoob. There she gained comprehensive training in family law litigation as well as considerable insight into how family law cases are viewed from a Judge’s perspective. She gained practical experience in handling complex financial disputes while working at the Philip C. Cook Tax Clinic where she served low income taxpayers. She also received a CALI Award for Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Since being admitted to the Georgia Bar, Annie has been active in the legal community. She serves the on the Family Law committee for the Young Lawyers Division of the Georgia Bar and is active in the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.
In addition to her work at Senterfitt & Knight, Annie does pro bono work through the Safe Families Office of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the DeKalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. She also serves as a Guardian ad Litem in the DeKalb Juvenile Court.
